Happy New Year 2014

Greetings to you all and best wishes for a Happy New Year. Marlene and I are busy in the midst of Renewal at World Gospel Mission. Renewal is the time when our missionaries coming home for their home ministry assignment receive a chance to be ministered to and encouraged. This week we have missionaries from Honduras and the Native American Indiana field  that we have had the opportuity to minister to. Next week we will teach a couple seminars to a larger group of missionaries that are at the headquarters in Marion, IN. We thoroughly enjoy these opportunities to pour into the lives of our missionaries.

Some of you may recall we were scheduled to be in Africa the end of the year and perhaps some of you were even praying for us. While we didn't travel to Africa we did travel about 15,000 miles visiting churches and supporters the last part of the year. We are looking forward to making that visit to Uganda and Kenya in the month of April as the Lord continues to lead the way for us.

 

As you pray for us this month, pray for our seminars as we present. We want to have God's heart and mind and be His voice to our missionaries. We also have an opportunity to speak at a couple of churches in Michigan as well during February. In the month of March we are excited for our daughthers marriage to Zac Hiser. Please pray for them as they prepare to start their lives together.

We will let you know next month more details about our Africa trip as they continue to come together.
